Domaine Carrel & Senger Vin de Savoie Jongieux Blanc 2023 Vintage:2023 with velvety rich dark fruitWhen Thomas Senger purchased a share of the generations old Carrel family domaine, it was in order to preserve one of Savoie's stalwart traditional estates in the village of Jongieux, the warmest appellation in the area on west facing slopes near Lac du Bourget. The domaine makes the full range of Savoie: red gamay and Mondeuse, sparkling and white Altesse, but the backbone of the domaine is the Savoie standard: Jacquerre. A reliable vine that
