We completely remove your existing sole, install a brand new leather midsole, and then attach a genuine Dr. Sole #1091 cork compound half sole and matching heel to the bottom. Because of the added thickness of this build, new welts are required the original welt can't be reliably reused for this style of rebuild without difficulties maintaining
