It essentially holds a shaft a precise position so the seatpost can be taken apart and reassembled. This fits Fox Transfer SL and Raceface Turbine SL in 30. 9 and 31. 6 sizes. This WILL NOT fit 27. 2 sizes. It also will not fit non SL models. This is made of 6061 T6 aluminum and is then CNC machined to a precise size. It is a raw machined finish. This is for the tool only, no seatpost or seatpost parts are
