Measuring 350 mm with the scabbard on, and 320 mm without, this bayonet features a 95 mm long nickel plated magnetic steel blade with a sharpened edge and a pointed tip. The obverse blade is acid engraved "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" (In Memory of My Service Period) inside a banner flanked on both sides by oak leaf branches and Wehrmacht (Armed Forces) style German national eagles clutching mobile swastikas.
