A Shooting Down Award For Luftwaffe Air Belgium-Northern France District  Auction Archive circa 1936Two red cotton fields sewn back to back, screen printed on both sides with the Luftwaffe eagle insignia in black, positioned in the tail smoke of a downed white aircraft, black screen printed type "Lg. Kdo. Belg. Nordfr." at the side, two rows of reinforced stitching along the two long edges, durable white hoist sleeve with original severed rope still embedded inside, 367 mm x 542 mm,, tip has been field repaired on the right facing side, very fine.
