A well preserved Luftwaffe DRL style miniature letter opener, constructed of a polished and silvered bronze alloy. Measuring 240 mm in total length, it features a 165 mm long tapering blade with a sharpened tip. The blade sits securely within a curved and ribbed crossguard, while the handle is composed of a rounded and ribbed grip. It completes with a rounded pommel, each side of which bears a raised and gilded sunwheel
