Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Obersturmführer Collar Tab Republic of Knight’s blue silk garter(Waffen SS Kragenspiegel fr einen Obersturmfhrer). Constructed of black doeskin, trimmed with twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, pinned with three silvered pips, and overlaid by a silver aluminum wire tresse bisected by a black threaded bar, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), demonstrating evidence of post manufacture addition of the tresse consistent with rank upgrade, in uniform removed and near extremely fine condition.
