Raku Vase with Circle Ladder Motif in Orange A111428 41ct (medium)This wheel thrown clay vessel features archival coloration and was fired in the raku tradition; this piece has both glazed and naked (non glazed) raku, as well as several layers of hand polished terra sigillata. To achieve the distinct surface, the piece was brought to a high temperature quickly; once the glaze was melted, the piece was removed, forming cracks in the glaze.
